Mike Himelfarb established M2R Enterprises in 2005 intending to build a different kind of general contracting company. With over 20 years of project management experience in corporate environments he brings with him all the tools necessary to ensure a sucessful home improvement project.

"Throughout my professional life I've built a reputation for honesty, integrity and ingenuity and those are the pillars upon which this company is built. I don't take that reputation lightly and I won't do anything to jeopardize it. I established a Code of Ethics under which this company operates and I believe we're unique in that regard. I want this to be a company people can trust.

When we undertake a renovation project we concentrate on doing the job right. We don't compromise those standards. Sometimes we take longer to finish the job but I figure my customers would rather we spent the extra time and got it right. In the end, a good price means nothing if you're not satisfied with the results.

One of the things I most enjoy in my work is the opportunities I have to educate my customers. I've always felt people approach home improvement focused mostly on what the end result should look like rather than understanding how to get there. In my opinion, this is why so many projects go off the rails. I feel it's important that homeowners know what's behind the final product so that they know what to look for while the job is in progress.

I know people that enjoy their work produce the best results and I love what I do. I get a tremendous amount of satisfaction from helping people realize their dreams. For me, there's nothing like seeing the expression on a client's face when they see the reality of a project they've only imagined... and I get to be a part of it."
